Presient's Message
Despite the challenging economic times, our Foundation continues to experience extraordinary successes in furthering its initiatives. In five short years, the Foundation has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars for worthy causes throughout the Hudson Valley. These funds have helped build medical facilities, provide scholarships for local students to attend college, preserve cultural landmarks and much more.
As a cancer survivor as well as the husband to a cancer survivor, I am particularly pleased to note our recent efforts to combat the disease. The Foundation has delivered hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding for cancer research and treatment facilities. In addition, our Foundation is a proud sponsor of the Relay for Life events held at All Sport Health and Fitness, which raises an additional one hundred thousand dollars each year for the American Cancer Society.
Recently, we have endeavored to expand our sphere of influence into new and innovative areas. This year, we were pleased to announce the “Green City” program, which seeks out opportunities for creating more sustainable urban environments for future generations. This is the first of many new programs we hope to establish in the coming months.
As we reflect on these accomplishments, our Foundation continues to press forward, committed to fostering growth and progress in our community. We are looking forward to continuing our efforts and building on this success for many years to come.
