HEALTH INITIATIVE
Currently our nation is in dire need of high quality, affordable health care. It is with this goal in mind that the Redl Family Foundation Health Initiative was conceived and implemented. Each year foundation trustees meet with local healthcare providers and clinical research foundations to find those opportunities that will be most beneficial to the Hudson Valley.
The foundation has collaborated with St. Francis Hospital as well as Vassar Brothers Medical Center and its parent company Health Quest on numerous capital expansion projects. In addition the foundation holds an annual Relay for Life at Fishkill All Sport, a Herb H Redl company.
EDUCATION INITIATIVE
Education is the foundation on which all progress and fulfillment in life is built. The Redl Family foundation takes great pride in supporting institutions of learning at all levels throughout the Hudson Valley. The Redl Family Foundation provides important aid to local academic institutions as well as scholarship opportunities for students.
The foundation enjoys a long standing supportive relationship with Marist and Vassar College, two of the finest institutions of higher learning this great country has to offer. This relationship has resulted in numerous improvements to campus and classroom alike.
CULTURE AND ARTS INITIATIVE
Pablo Picasso once said “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” The Redl Family Foundation strives to bring the Arts to all of the residents of the Hudson Valley to enrich their lives and inspire their hearts. The foundation has been a long time supporter of the Bardavon, a treasured landmark in the City of Poughkeepsie. The foundation also supports the work or artists and foundations like Art Along the Hudson, which provides innovative and challenging exhibits throughout the Hudson Valley.
